Dudley Greenhut was very proud of his largest project ever, the construction of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola, built in 1962. Naturally, Bill Greenhut was delighted when Greenhut was selected forty-five years later to add a new wing and renovate the existing buildings.
This construction comprises a new 45,000 sf. multi-purpose Fellowship Hall and pre-school building, and includes a new kitchen, classrooms and an open atrium. The new construction adjoins the existing Worship Center and Educational Buildings with a central core and enclosed two-story lobby space. A new 3,000 sf. Chapel seating 250 completes the north face of the campus and ties into the lobby space. Renovations were also made to 60,000 sf. of existing classrooms which included new mechanical, electrical and plumbing system upgrades.
